i did it today:
ok here goes:
i go up to ask if i can turn my outline in after i complete my speech, and she thinks i was asking to go today. i was expecting it, so it was no biggie. i was nervous anyway. i end up going third. i'm standing there, and someone in the front asks what my shirt means, and i'm like my speech topic. so i start my speech by just jumping into it. i really didn't know how to catch attention, i thought about maybe playing that who is eric hutchinson improv, but was unsure, so i didn't. i just started by saying i think great music should be shared and i love promoting my favorite musicians and i would like to talk to you about eric hutchinson. i start with song writer with catchy lyrics like dating a girl you're not sure is 18 yet. what he plays, his influences, college, playing coffee shops, bars, where ever he could. to some crowds of like 3. i talked discography, his deal that fell through with maverick, sounds like this, perez, what his singles are, tv appearances (i forgot to include his mj dedication :\) live shows, improv songs, i pointed at someone and said if he caught you texting, he would ask who the eff are you texting and write a song about it. i talked about his mash-ups. how he loves to meet fans, and i thanked everyone who helped. aww man, i think i forgot i def wanted to say how he likes to build a lasting relationship with his fans, but i overlooked it in my notes.

for my conclusion, i threw my notes, 2 full size sheets of paper--so how i overlooked that quote is beyond me--on the floor, and said this means nothing to really get to know him you have to listen and started playing a little rock and roll, outside villanova, and a little my girl. she stopped me before it was able to get into ignition
overall, i'm not sure how i did. i feel like i was just throwing facts about him, and i mean, that's what an informative speech is isn't it?
she tapes them on dvd-r's i'm not sure if i'd be able to rip to youtube or not so you could watch it.
