How very cool for the Aussie fans.

I wonder if there are any other impending dates for places outside the US?

I have some links and stuff Brb. I am also moving this thread to the Rock and roll Section that's where shows are discussed.

Ok. Here's a link.
http://www.chuggente...nt.com/tour/202

It says he will be playing for Jason's headlining shows.
Soo....
Mraz and his seven-piece super band will play headline shows on Tuesday 14 April at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday 15 April and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Tuesday 20 April.

I will look for a real press release.

Man, those are going to be such great gigs. I'm looking forward to living vicariously throught the folks who get to go, both here and on RKOP. Here's hoping for some state-side Jason/Eric shows.

Looks like a "Packed to the Rafters" line up. Both Eric and Jason had huge hits in Australia after being on the soundtrack for the tv show.

I'd like to see just Eric tho. Any word on some side gigs in Sydney with just him?

When Newton Faulkner came to Australia before he released "Dream catch me" he supported KT Tunstall but I got to see him at a little pub venue as well which was waaaaaaaaaay betterer. Would like a similar thing with Eric.
Warning - Do not look into the laser with remaining eye.

No news whether he's doing gigs on his own, but based on their busy schedule, maybe not? But who knows!

I can't wait to see him! I'll be at I think at least 4 of his shows with Jason! Psyched!

    Back To Where I Was

I am a little jealous of the line up in Australia.

Missy Higgins' song "Where I Stood" is one of the most poignant love songs ever written. The lyrics are so raw, so good, that I climb the walls with jealousy that they aren't something I wrote.

I saw Mraz twice in 2008 and both times he was incredible. The first was at Mile High Music Fest and the second was at Denver's Fillmore Auditorium. I can't decide which one I enjoyed more. On the one hand it was great to be under the blazing sun at MHMF listening to Jason sing "Live High" and "I'm Yours/ Three Little Birds." On the other hand, I also play at the Fillmore, so it was beyond amazing to see him there.

Those kids down under are in for some darned good shows.

Sorry, this bugs me, but can someone edit the post? Australia is spelt wrongly. Thanks. :P

I'm quite anal about spelling. haha

I WAS THERE!! I fleew in From Texas. We weren't going to go becaus ewe travel everywhere all the time to see Jason but then we saw Eric would be there so we ended up going. I think we had 9 or 10 people in our group. we were from coneticut, houston, dallas, south carolina, a few from colorado and some guys from california. We also did the Ovation TV taping thing at Bonefish Grill the day before. Poor guy burning his toes at the beginning.
