Your questions for Eric Hutchinson

Been a while since I've posted on here. Eric's coming back around to my neck of the woods in about a week's time. I'm trying to line up some time that Eric can do a Q&A for the station I work for. I need your help though!
Have you ever found yourself thinking "Man, if only I could ask Eric __________?" Well, here's your chance! Respond to this post with one, two or a handful of questions you'd like to ask the great Eric Hutchinson and I'll do my best to slip 'em in if everything goes right and I land an interview with Mr. Hutchinson on Friday, July 17th.
Oh and be sure to leave your name and city/state (or city/country) too, so I can begin each question with "So-and-so from such-and-such-a place wrote in on your fanboard and wanted to know __________________."
Quick! Hurry! Be fast! This opportunity runs out July 17th. I'll post a link to any videos or articles after said date so you can see your question in action.

Okay,here's my questions for Hutch:
How long does it take you to write a song?
Did all the scenarios in Oh! actually happen,or did you come up w/ them on your own?

Eric has been road testing some new songs lately. How does that process work for him, and does he know if a song is one he wants to record even before he plays it for an audience?

Perez Hilton calls you one of his 'musical children' what do you think about that? Jenna from Virginia Beach, VA

For example:
Does he set aside time to write regularly or does he just write when he feels inspired to do so?
What comes to him first: melody, lyrics, just a general theme?
How long does it take him to write a song? Does he do it all in one sitting or will he leave and come back to it?
Does he often tweak a song once it's "finished"? Naturally, the songs grow and change organically in performance, but does he ever sit back down with the sheet music and lyrics to re-work something? Or is it more of a "once-it's-done-it's-done" scenario?
Does he feel anything has changed about his songwriting in the years since this has become a career vs. a hobby?
Or any other details he cares to share...
ALSO, does he have any idea when he might perform again in Manhattan? NYC misses Eric Hutchinson!!

This one was semi-lame.
If you were not able to sing and play music, what would be another interesting talent you would want to have to entertain your friends?
See lame! Bah!

ETA: Is there any way to get his name corrected in the video title (it's up as "Hutchison"). I'd hate to see people miss it if the search doesn't recognize the misspelling. Thanks!
